At 109 years old the grandstand has been a mainstay at Devonport services. With visiting teams from the famous Welsh Crawshay to the All Blacks who visited in 1920, it is safe to say that Devonport has hosted some of the greatest teams in the world.
Sadly in 2004 the stand was decommissioned for safety reasons and sat dormant until funding to replace it was secured in 2020.
Demolish and remove the grandstand. Prepare the ground for its replacement using recycled waste materials.
